1N2D Camping in Kakani

This is a 1 Night 2 Days Camping in Kakani program designed for students in Grade 4 and above. The tour combines nature-based adventure with historical visits and agricultural exploration, located approximately 1–2 hours away from the school.

Historical Exploration: A visit to the Thai Airways Crash Memorial at the top of Kakani.

Astronomy Session: An evening activity focused on learning about and spotting various zodiac signs across the night sky.

Agricultural Experience: A guided walk around local strawberry farms on the second day.

Social & Experiential Learning: Includes bonfire activities with song and dance, alongside structured experiential learning programs.

Day 1

  • 09:00 AM: Students assemble at school after breakfast to board the bus for the 1–2 hour drive to Kakani.
  • Morning/Midday: Visit the Thai Airways Crash Memorial before heading to the campsite to set up camp.
  • Lunch: Midday meal followed by the start of experiential learning activities.
  • Afternoon: Snack break followed by continued experiential learning programs.
  • Evening (Post-Sunset): Zodiac sign identification session followed by a bonfire with music and dance.
  • Night: Group dinner and retreat to tents.

Day 2

07:00 AM: Wake up call.

08:00 AM: Breakfast session.

Morning: A walking tour around the local strawberry farms.

Lunch: Final meal at the campsite.

Afternoon: Board the vehicle for the return journey back to school.

Includes

  • Accommodation: 1 night stay in tents on a triple sharing basis, including sleeping bags.
  • Transport: Round-trip transportation between the school and Kakani.
  • Meals: A total of 5 meal services: 1 breakfast, 2 lunches, 1 snack, and 1 dinner.
  • Staffing: 1 complimentary teacher spot for every 10 students.
  • Pricing: NPR 5,600 per person, based on a minimum requirement of 40 students.

  • Personal Costs: Personal sundry expenses such as extra food, water, soft drinks, laundry, or shopping.
