This is a 1 Night 2 Days Camping in Nagarkot program designed for students in Grade 4 and above. The tour combines a visit to Nepal’s oldest temple with outdoor adventure, including hiking and hands-on camping skills in the hills of Nagarkot.
Cultural Visit: An excursion to Changunarayan Temple, recognized as the oldest temple in Nepal.
Outdoor Skills: Hands-on instruction for students on how to pitch their own tents.
Nature Hiking: Two distinct hikes featuring Bojeene Dam and Rani Jhula.
Evening Social: A traditional bonfire assembly with singing and dancing.
Day 1
- 08:00 AM: Students assemble at school and depart by bus for Changunarayan Temple.
- Morning: Visit the temple and then drive up to the Nagarkot campsite for lunch.
- Early Afternoon: Tent-pitching lesson followed by a hike to Bojeene Dam.
- 04:00 PM: Snacks at the campsite followed by experiential learning games and activities.
- Evening: Bonfire with music and dancing starting after sundown; dinner is served at 07:00 PM.
- 09:00 PM: Lights out.
Day 2
- 07:00 AM: Wake up call.
- 08:00 AM: Breakfast session.
- Morning: Hike to Rani Jhula.
- 11:00 AM: Return to the campsite for lunch followed by the return trip to school.
Includes
- Accommodation: 1 night in tents on a triple sharing basis, including sleeping bags.
- Transport: Round-trip transportation between the school and Nagarkot.
- Meals: 1 breakfast, 2 lunches, 1 snack, and 1 dinner.
- Staffing: 1 complimentary teacher spot for every 10 students.
- Pricing: NPR 5,600 per person (without VAT) or NPR 6,300 per person (with VAT), based on a minimum of 30 students.
Excludes
- Refunds: No refund is provided if a student leaves the tour midway.
